Vision Statement:
As a youth-led debate association, our mission is to empower the next generation of public speakers through digital classes and small group instruction. We create engaging, advanced lesson plans that encourage critical thinking, collaboration, and confidence. From research and seminars to exploring unique debate topics, we ensure that students develop a strong foundation for future academic pursuits and community leadership.
Scale
Through summer camps, individual mentorship, and school consulting, Youth Who Debate has worked with over 60 students since May 2026. Providing free services, we have saved students and families an estimated $25,000.
Results
Our students compete at various local and national tournament, advancing to elimination rounds and placing high in speaker awards. Two teams have broken at the annual Harvard Speech and Debate tournament, while many more have achieved state-level awards.
Time
Our seasonal classes, school consulting, and individual mentorship has curated over 150 hours of coaching.
Method
We continue to create advance lesson plans for students at every level. Unlike many debate camps, our curriculum includes valuable life skills from public speaking content to resume building. This ensures debaters excel outside of a round.
